It was just supposed to be an episode about Podcasting, but our guest decided to take it down a slightly different road. Leo Napper is a fellow podcaster as well as the CEO of Vicar Studios in Chantilly, Va. Leo talks a little about podcasting and gives us some advice on how to get our podcast to the next level.
Finally reached double digit episodes. Today the fellas talk a little about why people leave their jobs, some "I Quit" stories and some of their own work stories.
Today the guys sit down with Jana Lee Macheca of First Angel Media. Jana shares with us about how she is quickly becoming the go to photographer for not just local artists, but national acts as well. If that doesn't keep her busy enough, she's branching into the podcast world with Audio Gossip w/ Lady Jaye. Be sure to check out her work at https://www.firstangelmedia.com and http://www.thechimeramagazine.com
oh yeah... we seriously couldn't fit another "plug" into this podcast.
Today we salute Mothers. Zack and Danny share some stories of their mothers and how they managed to raise them without killing them. They also spend time talking about their wives and the amazing mothers that they are.
Craft yourself a tin foil hat and buckle up for a trip down the rabbit hole. Zack sits out this episode and Jerry and Julie Mulligan step in to fill your minds with some pretty deep conspiracies. Be prepared to have your earth flattened!
In honor of Tax Day we're talking about where and how your tax dollars are spent. You might want to settle in with a stiff drink for this one. Realizing that your taxes were used to give Swedish Massages to rabbits is enough to make your blood boil. Danny gives a book report on the Whiskey Rebellion. Thanks for listening. Be sure to join our Working Stiffs Podcast Facebook group.
We're doin' it live! We sat down, flipped on the mics and let it rip. We talked about a bunch of stuff; Blacksmithing, annoying teenagers and Zack tells us how to lift. We enjoyed doing it. We hope you enjoy listening to it.
The Working Stiffs bring in a "White Collar" guy to give us some perspective on what it's like on the other side. Jared also shares his story of the day he stuck it to the man and struck out on his own.
So we already talked about one of our biggest passions, guns. Next on that list would be music. That's why Episode 3 is all about music. We sat down with 3 of the guys from the band Winter's Descent to talk about the band, the music scene and a little about working full time jobs while rocking out on the weekends. Zack and I had a great time talking with these guys and hope to have them back again soon. Take a listen. We hope you enjoy listening to as much as we did recording it.
The Working Stiffs take on the gun control issue. A little history, a little statistics and a whole lot of drunken opinions. It should be noted that this was recorded the day before the tragic events in Parkland, FL. We decided to continue on with this podcast because while our hearts are broken for the victims and their families our opinions on the rights of all Americans remains unchanged. The debate over guns will continue to go on with impassioned arguments from both sides of the issue, while real sensible solutions will continue to allude us. Thanks for listening and feel free to join the debate on The Working Stiffs Podcast Facebook Group or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Welcome to the very first podcast by The Working Stiffs. This podcast will cover how we came up with the idea for the podcast and where we hope to take it in the future. We hope you enjoy it.
